Sunrise over paddy fields in Cumbum valley

Cumbum Valley · Tamil Nadu

Food is medicine.
Grown the way it should be.

An organic initiative from a family of engineers turned farmers. Heirloom rice, cold-pressed oils and honest goodness — from our land, straight to your home.

Farm to HomeSince 2019

Our Ethos

Engineers, turned farmers. Rooted in soil, guided by ancestry.

We left cities and cubicles to come home — to the lush green valleys of Cumbum, cradled between the Western Ghats and the Meghamalai hills. Here the mist arrives at dawn, the palms whisper in the breeze, and the earth still remembers what real food tastes like.

Every product we send out is a small rebellion against polished, packaged, plastic-wrapped nutrition.

01

Grown, not sourced

Every grain comes from our own soil in the Cumbum valley — never a middleman warehouse.

02

Old seeds, slow methods

Heirloom native varieties, hand-pounded, sun-dried and wood-pressed the way our grandparents did.

03

Food is medicine

No refining, no polish, no additives. What leaves the farm is what reaches your kitchen.

This Season

From the harvest, honestly.

Founders of Namma Rudra Farm in the paddy fields

The Founders

"We wanted our children to know what real rice smells like."

A husband-and-wife team who traded engineering blueprints for seed catalogues. Today Namma Rudra Farm feeds thousands of families who share our belief that the simplest food is the strongest medicine.
